Meet our “Junior” Designers

Working on UI for Touchpoint DashboardThe experts at Touchpoint Dashboard are hard at work on our user interface design.  Our engineers are applying the finishing touches so we can launch the beta test version soon.

We wanted to take a moment to give you a peek behind the scenes and introduce you to two of the up-and-coming superstars in our design lab.  These two “junior” designers are fun to work with and always keep us on our toes!   We’re pretty sure they are the first 5 and 8 year old kids to ever express interest in touch mapping!

When our founder was working on a new reporting function for Touchpoint Dashboard at home over the weekend, his boys became intrigued with the large paper, colored cards and markers he was using to mock up ways to visualize touchpoint data.  This led to a quick tutorial and education session.

The boys thought it was cool, and borrowed supplies to create their own maps.  The three “designers” continued working independently, and it wasn’t long until there was a squabble and the older brother cried out “Daddy, my little brother destroyed my Lego Brand Touchmap!”  We doubt that any 8-year-old has ever said that before, and it’s proof that siblings really will fight about anything and everything!
